The Club's New Motto
2011 will be The Lemont Classic Car Club's 10th Anniversary as a club. This is indeed a milestone for us and we are very proud of it. The Lemont Classic Car Club has made a name for itself all over our area for being a club that you can depend on. When we are asked to host an event we show up, get the job done and leave quickly and quietly. We work hard, some times too hard. We need more club members to come out and volunteer at all of our events.
This year was a steller year!!! We hosted a lot of events and answered many requests to come out and show our vehicles to nursing homes, police events, parades and for events like Camp Quality for kids with cancer and the Shady Oaks Camp for People with Disabilities.
We need more members to GET INVOLVED!!
So for the 2011 year, our 10th anniversary year, we are asking that more members VOLUNTEER. Volunteer on Saturday Nights at the Car Cruise on Bell Road, bring your car out next time we are asked to come out to Franciscan Village for their band concerts, or to a retirement home so we can make their residents happy.
It's usually the same few people that constantly show up...... Of our 218 members we probably have only 25 that actually come out and help. This is your club too. GET INVOLVED !!!!!!
